Champaign County's 1st Annual Expungement & Record Sealing Summit
We have exciting news! Champaign County will be having its First Annual Expungement & Record Sealing Summit on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Stone Creek Church in Urbana. The summit will offer full-service assistance with the application, preparation, and filing for adult and juvenile criminal record expungement, sealing, and alternative forms of relief. Individuals will receive assistance from licensed attorneys and there will be no costs to the attendees.
This summit is being planned with the cooperation of many local entities, including Champaign County Circuit Clerk Katie Blakeman, State Senator Scott Bennett, Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance, Cabrini Green Legal Aid, Rosecrance, Urbana Park District, Stone Creek Church, and myself.
In order for attendees to have the highest possibility of a successful application, there is prep work they need to complete before the summit.
