Champaign County's 6th Annual Expungement & Record Sealing Summit
We have exciting news! Champaign County will be having its 6th Annual Expungement & Record Sealing Summit on November 9, 2021 and February 12, 2022. This summit will be split into 2-parts, November 9th will be the informational session and February 12th will be the in-person event. The summit will offer full-service assistance with the application, preparation, and filing for adult and juvenile criminal record expungement, sealing, and alternative forms of relief. Individuals will receive assistance from licensed attorneys and there will be no costs to the attendees.
This summit is being planned with the cooperation of many local entities, including Champaign County Circuit Clerk Susan McGrath, State Senator Scott Bennett, Champaign County Clerk Aaron Ammons, Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance, Cabrini Green Legal Aid, Stone Creek Church, and myself.
In order for attendees to have the highest possibility of a successful application, there is prep work they need to complete before the summit.
